I have an OD-3 that I think sounds pretty good. It's one major flaw is that its got a big bump around 200 hz (to my ears) that makes it a bit muddy. I have a schematic but other than the input cap (.047) I can't figure out what else I can do to reduce bass. Anyone have any ideas?

Also what is this circuit based on? Its similar in some respects to the BD-2 schematic but it has alot more bass and is MUCH smoother especially in the decay of the distortion back to clean. The BD-2 has this ratty, sputtering decay I always disliked.

you change location C10 to 1uf or 2.2uf to add mids, warmth and fatness, C8 to .001uf to remove highs that make your ears bleed, and D2,D3 to 1n4148 this will yield less distortion and allow more clean tone coming through, and a little smoother

Well if anything I want less mid-bass warmth/woof. But some upper mids around 700 hz might be nice with my fender amps. Treble reduction also isn't a bad idea as I usually set the tone pot at 10:30. Thanks for the tips.

mess around with that last opamp stage... r11, r12, r13, r14 and the caps c7 and c8.
Possibly the stage before it as well, the c14/r24 combo (1k and 10uf! That's gonna make it quite muddy as well!) I'd go with a 470 ohm and .47uf there, possibly increasing r15 as well if you need more gain and more clarity.

Hope that helps! :)
