Hey guys,
First time on here with a quick question. I realize this is a stomp box site, but I've got amp trouble. I have an old Oliver that needs repair. It turns on, but it has very low, very dirty signal even with new tubes. I know I can do the work because I used to apprentice at a repair shop but I wasn't there long enough to diagnose the problem. There was a problem where a capacitor (the big ones that hold voltage and shock real badly) had the lead break off right at the body of the cap. I was able to re attach it. Could that be the problem or should I fish around more? Anyone know amps?

if caps are old I'd suggest replacing them, that's general advice, but might solve your problem...
