Does anyone know of the best way to get the RAT PC board in and out of the enclosure?

The version I have is the smaller enclosure with the LED. This is a "newer" RAT. I believe people refer to this one as the RAT-2. The PC board has some version number along with 1995 on it.

I removed all the nuts, washers, screws, etc but I had a hard time getting it out of the "U" shaped top part of the enclosure.

I ended up having to bend the "U" shaped portion of the enclosure to so I could slip the PC board out. Is there an easier way? I must be a complete idiot because I could not figure a way of getting it out with out bending the enclosure.

Eventually, I am going to have to put it the PC board back in and I know it is going to be a pain.

Any hints/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Below are some pics.

Many thanks in advance.

On its side, the top piece of the enclosure (this is what I refer to as the "U" shaped portion of the enclosure):

From the pic below, you can see that it's going to be a pain to try and get it back in:

it isnt that bad once you have done it.... I made sure the pots were lined up with their holes first, them i worried about the switch. I kept the switch pressed in the whole time which allowed me just enough clearance to work it into the hole...

It is tight but it will fit.

Jon,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I also tried keeping the switch pressed the whole time but I still was not able to get it out of the enclosure without having to bend it a little.

Getting it back in is a pain.

Thanks again.
