Does anyone have any clue as to what would cause my Dr. Boogey to fade in? The output level is very low until signal is fed through for a minute, but the distortion seems to be there.

I have no idea, but most times when there's a delay in something, it seems to point to a capacitor problem. I assume it's having this problem with just the Boogey by itself (no other pedals in chain)

It is the only one in the chain and I've replaced all of the electrolytics. Could it be one of the film caps?

Hey, that's weird, I thought it was just me.
I have the same thing going on in my flipster- fades in the first time ya turn it on. I figured it had to do with the caps because it started when I piggybacked(paralleled) more caps onto the decoupling caps to let more bottom end thru. It worked, but there is that fade-in thing...
I had figured it was maybe all those caps 'charging' up or something and I just put up with it, since it only does it when first turned on... ::) Yeah, I know...

Edit: Oh, and yes, they were film caps.
I am not responsible for your imagination.

I really have no idea. I would check the power supply electrolytic capacitors. Make sure that they are oriented correctly.
