I finally had some time to build John Hollis' Omnidrive (from the Geofex layout) from the parts I have been sitting on for the last three months.  I'm pretty impressed.  Someone here said that it did a good approximation of the circuits it is supposed to emulate without getting them exactly, and I think that's a very good assessment.  I A/B's it with my TS, BMP, New Clipper, Green Ringer and various boosters and it does come close to hitting on the character of each of those.  I think I will find it useful for stacking various pedals (especially those listed above) without having to build or buy another.  Overall, I think it's a keeper, and I will enjoy tweaking it.

No, I don't have any squealing.  It's a pretty big enclosure so the input and output wires are pretty far away from each other. I may add LEDs later (I planned to) but I ended up repurposing an enclosure for an abandoned project that had just enough holes for the pots and switches and 1 LED.
