greetings all,

long-time-reader-first-time-poster here.  i've done some searching and the general consensus about tim e's cmos boost is that it's a decent sounding, easy to build effect. i just happen to have most of the parts laying around so i thought i'd give it a shot on perf based on mark m's layout found here:

http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/v/MarkMs-Gallery/album15/album76/CMOS_Boost_LAYOUT.gif.html

i'm fairly new, so can someone else confirm exactly where the "In" circuit connects, because if i'm looking at this correctly it seems that the IN is just 2 pads that do not connect to anything. i'm sure i've missed something.

the original schematic can be found about halfway down the page here:

http://www.geocities.com/tpe123/folkurban/fuzz/snippets.html

but i don't seem to have enough experience yet to make the 2 mesh in a way that makes sense.

thanks for reading!

Take the '1,2,3' from the layout and move them all one hole to the right.  The #3 lug from the pot should connect to the input wire, #2 should connect to that cap, and #1 goes to ground.

thanks very much! - is it safe to say the others should be moved over one as well? IE level 1 to ground, level 2 is output and level 3 to C4?
