Is the Vb in the schem suppose to be 4.5 . I have the typical voltage div. with 4.5 as vr. and the 100kpot is an gain adjustment[?]. I have one built and working  out a few bugs . Thanks alot for sharing your valuable time.

O K I read the frequently asked questions, its VR. The pot is an gain control isnt it, with wiper tied to neither side?
