A different kind of 2 in 1 SWITCHING question

I've done several 2 effects in 1 box with success, but they've all been set up where each effect can be turned on or off. 

I'm trying to wire up a box with two effects; I want:
-one switch that turns the box on or off
-a second switch that switches between effect A and effect B
-two LEDs so that when on, the A/B switch also switches between LED A and LED B, but when off, both LEDs are off. 

I searched and couldn't find one, and I tried to come up with something, but it's not working.  Anybody got a diagram?

I think this should work.  You can use DPDT if you don't want to use LEDs and batteries.

Being pedantic, you have an extra LED there which could be removed and the terminal it connects to then connnected to the ground (removed) terminal on the other switch.

Hpoe this makes some kind of sense,
