I got one for my cry baby that had a TDK in it and it did help some but no matter what i did to mod it it never sounded like his sound clips and when I ask him what else he done to his pedal he never gave a reply.

Everytime I've bought a Whipple he includes resistors so you can mod your wah... I go by my own taste but he definitely gives as much help as he can in that department I've experienced...
