I'm looking at modding a Morley Wah, the Bad Horsie to be exact. If i want to add circuitry, there's a lot of extra PCB in the way. A lot of it is part of the huge ground plane. would it really harm the circuit if i cut off the excess ground?

If anyone needs pics of the underside of the PCB and a diagram of what i want to cut off, lemme know.

Thanks for the help.

I doubt it would be a problem. As far as I know, the reason Morley makes their PCBs so large towards the heel end is to make it easy to PCB mount the switch LEDs (either side or both, depending on the model) using a similar PCB for most models. Be sure to leave a good margin of ground plane and you should be fine I think.
