I read here where you can use alcohol to remove the gunky flux stuff that appears after soldering. What kind of alcohol is this? Where ti buy it? Any other great ideas?

I use acetone and an old toothbrush - clean as a hound's tooth afterwards.

I bought ISO Alchohol and it works great. Cost less than a dollar too! Sure makes finding error much simplier!!

Organic based flux can often be cleaned off with just water.  So check the label on the solder or flux you're using.
