Dr Boogey mid pot question

Hi every one,

i want to build the dr boogey with the tonestack reduced, but i can't find the pot 2k5-b for the MID,
should i use a 2k-b + resistor 500ohm or should i use a 5k-b   ???

use a 5kb pot and put a 4.7kOhm resistor between lugs 1 and 3...

Or better yet, a 5.1K resistor across the outer lugs. Either way will work fine.
