Slowing down a Bildger Ohnkloan?

I did a quick search and didn't find exactly what I was looking for so I was wondering if anyone knows how to make the tremolo even slower.  I love T Bone's tremolo on the song "Killing the Blues" from the "Raising Sand" album but my trem won't go as slowly as his will.

Is there a way to mod the Bildger or should I build a new trem altogether?

Never heard of it.  Is this a DIY project?  Or is it OK to post a schematic? (no worries if it isn't).

I'm sure it could be modded.  Just a question of what type of LFO is used.

As I understand it, the Bildger Ohnkloan is MarkM's take on the improved EA trem.  I got the layout from his gallery.  Here is the link.

I'd wager there is a schemo someplace, I just don't know where to find it.

Thanks, Gez

I hate layouts as I always find them difficult to understand.  However, I'm pretty sure that those three .68uF caps (C5, C6 and C7) are the ones to tinker with.  Keep them all the same, but make them slightly larger.  What a lot of people seem to do with the EA, and its derivatives, is make the caps switchable.  You could 'simply' (I appreciate that it's a PCB layout) switch in caps in parallel with what's already there.

Just had a look at the original EA schematic (at GGG) and 1uF caps are used.  I think the stop resistor on the speed pot is different, too.  Perhaps change values to original spec?
