Ok, I have no clue as to what i'm doing but i need to build a box that will cut off the highs and lows from my bass.

I play a Hamer 12 string bass guitar and i want to eliminate the extreme lows and highs from going to my guitar amp.
I use a bass rig and a guitar rig when i play the 12 string bass. This pedal will go right before my guitar amp inline.

As you can tell by the prehistoric design at the bottom, I'm a newbie :)
But will this design work .. I realize i may have to "play" with the frequencies after it is finished..

Thanks guys.

Wow a 12 string bass, that has to be a monster sound coming out of that thing. Every string has 2 octave strings with it I presume?

Here you have an on line RC calculator:

Yeah, Incredible sound live, but i removed the normal crossover i use from my rack so now i need to build this box to filter frequencies from blasting my guitar amp...

Thanks for the calculator...

I used this calculator, with a sine wave analyzer. Cool Site.
