Hey everyone, this is my first post here.

Anyway, i'm looking to clone a Seamoon Funk Machine (i have an original, but i want a spare to gig with).  I got the schematic for it online, but the transistor isn't standard........its marked "4006 'M' 251".  Any ideas of a substitute I can use?  here's a link to the schematic: http://files.muziq.be/schematics/seamoon_funkmachine.gif

Thanks in advance for any help!

2N5088 has been suggested before, I think by Aron and by Mark Hammer.

Keen's Second Law reads: When in doubt, use a 2N5088.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

What are the first and third laws?

Keens Law #1 : When in doubt, ask your wife.

Keens Law #3 : When you have a question, use the "search function".
