I'm finding it kind of hard to fit my Neovibe build into anything I have here, and I have several boxes to choose from.

What size/type enclosure are you guys putting your Neovibes into?
This will be for gigging use so cigar boxes and things of that nature won't cut it .

I think I've seen people recommend 1590C (or the 1690NS copy) for the Neovibe.  It's the same width and depth as a 1590BB, but 2 inches tall.  I think I'm going to build a sturdy wooden enclosure for mine, though.

Yes, 1590C is the one to use, I built one using this size and it works great.

I'm putting mine in a 1790NS and it fits easily.

It will go in the C. The 1590DD is very spacious.

It will also fit inside a Crybaby rocker pedal if you grind off the mounting posts with a dremel and a rotary file.  :icon_biggrin:

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Can someone who's used the 1590C post a gut shot?
That's what I'm trying to use and it seems just a little too shallow to get everything in there on top of the double-pot used for speed control.
I'm using the GGG RTS PCB version. (how's that for an acronym?  ;D )

I built mine into 1590C box (from Smallbear). Sorry, I don't have a gut shot and my camera is out of juice, but the photo below shows the finished build. What I did was 'float' the PCB over the pots component side DOWN using some stand-offs I fashioned out of plastic strapping I had. To be honest, the off-board wiriing itself would do this job. I then insulated the solder side of the PCB so that it wouldn't short on the lid. Still going strong. Not the prettiest guts you've ever seen but who cares if it works and is reliable.

Hi I am building mine in a 125c size box from smallbear. I have so much room,  however I am mounting my pcb on the bottom plate its nice and neat. If I was going to buy another box like this I would go to www.pedalpartsplus.com they have better prices and they paint em!!!!!
