prob with my sch-1 chorus

hi!

Was just wondering if anyone could help me de-bug my old arion sch-1 chorus.

Lately it has developed a low-pitched hum that comes on whenever the pedal is engaged. It's not super loud, but loud enough.

It's not the power supply, I use an "ACA" to account for the 12V etc. I even tested it on a battery, same thing. I popped it open, nothing obvious, so I could use some help searching for what it could be. I really love this pedal, and hope it's not dying. It is 25 years old and made of plastic though...

any ideas?
