What kind of power supply should I use for those GEOFEX tranny testers? I'm asking because the 9V batteries that I have right now give me 10V. I have a Ibanez wall wart supply a 1Spot and a regulated adjustable 1A (transformer) power supply. Should I use one of those power supplies or go and buy 9V battery that have some sort of brand (I would think they would give you right voltage)?

The 1Spot is regulated to the same voltage as a fresh alkaline battery. It would be a good choice. The Ibanez would probably work as well.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Thanks for answering. Now I have to test some salvaged old PNP germs.
