Could I use any Different parts?

I'm building a proco rat 2 and this dragonfly fuzz and I can't find a few parts, so I was wondering if there were any substitutes I could use.

For the dragonfly i can't find the 500k pot and BC108 and for the rat I can't find the .30pF.

the colorsound you can use 2n3904 transistors and anywhere from a 100k - 1M pot...

those things will make it sound a little different than the original, but it will still sound awesome.

Thanks, so that's the Dragonfly sorted =]. Now what about the .30pF, I've never done this, so it could just be a conversion error, so I'll check that.

Umm i was ordering stuff off of the Bear electronics and i can't find it anywhere on there.

It's 30 pf, rather than .30 pf, which should make your search much easier (nobody makes anything as small as .3 pF).

SmallBear has a bc10x workalike, when you click on it, there is a drop-down menu where you can specify bc108.  I'm sure he has the 500k pot also.

Alright cool i now have everything i need except for the 30pF, which I don't think they have. Could I use any other part in it's place, or should I just try another store.

I found a 33pF silver mica cap, will this work?

Also in a schematic i saw something labeled 820R, am i correct in thinking R stands for resistance and it is the same thing as 820ohms?

and R is indeed ohm
