Hello, I am thinking of making a volume pedal in a crybaby wah enclosure.

Any suggestion for what (or which) pot should I use ?

thank you !

I would think the crybaby would make a terrible volume pedal due to the small range of travel. However, I suppose the 470K dunlop volume pot would work.

i've done that before, and yes, aron is right about the limited travel. I re-converted it back to a wah.  :icon_redface:

yes, it is not that good,  if you want to test it just take the fasel out of your wah.  it is pretty bad, if you wanted to make a volume pedal, trya  morley shell or a Ernie Ball Shell

Yes, but with the Boomerang wah shell, it works pretty well as a volume pedal. The Boomerang model BG-2 is a wah/volume pedal, I have an example from 1972.

Actually, I would recommend picking up a DOD FX-17 wah/volume pedal. It's great as a volume pedal, very quiet and no pots to ever wear out or sound scratchy. You can usually get one for $50, sometimes less.
