Does anyone have a lib file for these mono (and stereo) pcb mounted jacks?

Much appreciated if you're willing to share!

Nope, that doesn't contain the closed jack.

Thnx for the suggestion though!

I know it must exist somewhere. In this thread you can see a picture of someone who used it:

I pm-ed him a couple of days ago but got no response.

Maybe one of these will work?

You can also use the pads in the "solpad" library and build a custom one.  I like to use the pads for custom components because I can label each pad and the pad label goes with it to the Board.

Thanks, that one could be a kind of substitute. In the mean time I'm working on a custom one. If I succeed I'll share it (ofcourse)

Well, the Eagle-editor seems easy to use with the help of some tutorials on the web.

here's the lib I created:

It's a stereo closed mono jack.

There's still things to be improved, like the names of the pins, and probably the layout of the symbol. Feel free to do so if you know how to.

I've not tested it on a print yet, but will do so shortly.

Here's an image of a project I'm working on with 4 of the custom closed jacks added:

I also made a print on paper and the actual closed jack pins fit the pads in eagle. Looks like you can use this one.

have you found some then?  i made some closed jack components based on the neutrik data sheets.  would they be helpful?

just checked.  they are in the gm-jacks.lbr that has been up since december 20, 2007.  the packages are called MONOSW and STEREOSW where SW tells you that they are switched jacks.

Thanks Paul, I have to check them out. I make heavy use of yourlibs...but have not updated them for a couple of months.

np.  i don't do a very good job of posting the changes anymore.  :icon_confused: :icon_wink:
