'Foamies' letters taped to a straight piece of cardboard, centered.
Various color paints or paint is applied evenly to the letters, an 'end stop' is rubber banded to the top of the box, then I put the letters board to the end stop and carefully drop the board down to apply the paint off the foamie' letters, careful to keep it pinned to the stop block and make no side to side motion.
Marks on the back of the board indicated center, and where the right and left 'ends' are...beginning of first letter/ ending of last letter.
Ends up looking wierd [yellow and red and green look cool bleeding into one another] but with fairly even edges, barely readable but cool looking.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Got any pics?

I'll have to call my local Curry's (very good,  but expensive, arts and crafts store) to see if they have theses foamie letters.
