Doppelganger alternatives?

I've wanted a Lovetone Doppelganger for quite a while now. Actually, it's fair to say that I've lusted after the Doppleganger.

But if prices continue to skyrocket, there's no way I'll ever get my hands on one.

Are there any reverse-engineered schems out there? (I'm assuming no, since they probably would have surfaced sooner if they existed)

What are some DIY alternatives that will have the similar functionality and control? I'm thinking maybe the Phaser Fleur or the Infinitphase, but I just don't know...

A pair of phaser fleurs. With a series/parallel switch. And a Nurse Quacky after them.
