Hi. I´m looking for the pinout of the 2n7000 here
http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheets_pdf/2/N/7/0/2N7000.shtml
and i´m confused, because different datasheets have different pinouts. I think maybe some of them are 2n7000 but they are not MOSFET´s. So how do i know if i have these kind of device and not a Mosfet.?

Thanks

2N7000 is a mosfet. The pinout may be different from one manufacturer to another so you'll need to know who makes the transistor to know for sure.

But i dont know the manafucturer. Mine says "2N7000-G35" , and in the other side there is an "11".

General Semiconductor would be my guess. Do you remember who you bought them from? If so you could probably contact them and ask. You could also breadboard the circuit and just plug it in different ways til it works. Of course there allows a chance that you'll fry the transistor in the process.

I don't understand, I looked at every one of the datasheets in your link and they all have the same pinout?  :icon_question:

I started out with nothing... I still have most of it.

Actually General Semi looks to be the only one that does have a different pinout. That being said, I don't know who the manufacturer is so maybe try the common pinout, and if that doesn't work, flip it up side down.

Looks the same to me. SGD left to right while looking at the flat part of the case.  :icon_question:

Your right, for some reason I was looking at the diagram thinking that it was showing the top view of the transistor rather then the bottom.

I think it's the opposite of a BS170.
