Boss CE2 won't turn on no led sound goes through but no effect???

Anybody have any Ideas I checked many of the usual suspects: loose wires, the switch and I'm stumped for now??

try to adjust the trimpot...for me that was a big problem

Thanks I'll mess with it.  Gigmarga when you were having this problem did the led work on your pedal??  Because it seems like the led should work regardless of what the trimpot is set at.
