Quasi Blend Circuit

I have a pink noise generator that I would like to be able to add into the signal of my guitar and I was thinking that I should be able to use any one of the blend circuits that are currently available but they are all designed to function like an effects loop.  I've made a slight modifiction to Joel's Buff 'N Blend circuit and I'm looking for some feedback on whether or not this should function or if I should be using an opamp circuit.

It's a bit more complicated, but the results are entirely predictable.

Theres like, five parts there.

Breadboard it!
This is simple enough to just solder the parts together dead bug style.
You could have your answer in less time than it takes to deliver a pizza.

You could also build something like I did using the GGG IC buffer and mini-mixer.
That would give you two buffered channels and two volume controls; one for the guitar; and one for the generator.
