Neo Vibe and Switched Mode Power Supply

I am sure I have read about somebody using a Neo Vibe with a switched Mode Power supply. My concern is that  with this kind of adapter there would be the danger of picking up noise.

Does anybody have experience of this using this kind of adapter please ?

Yep. I got a siren-like oscillation using a switch-mode PSU. Changing to a regulated transformer-design PSU cured the problem, so it was definitely the PSU. Doesn't mean you will have the same experience, but if you are buying a PSU specifically for the Vibe, I would avoid a switching supply.
