I found this booster modification for the EA Tremolo on the general guitar gadgets site seen here:

http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf/ggg_eat_mods.pdf

and i'm wondering if it can be applicable to the Boss TR-2 as it appears to be a very simple modification by adding a  SPST switch, however i don't believe the rest of the circuitry is similar enough to the EA to make it work right (does the TR-2 have a shunt?) plus the TR-2 doesn't have a volume pot, I haven't attempted to look at the schematic of the TR-2 yet (as i'm still abit of a novice at this).  thought i start here... ???
