What's the best transformer to use for the power supply on the GGG website? I have a hammond 166j36 will that work fine with this diagram? Should I just ignore the center tap like I'm thinking?

If you go to http://topopiccione.atspace.com/index.html where the original builder (for the clone)  posted the schematic you'll find another schematic for the RM-1 power supply that shows a different diagram for the transformer without a bridge recifier/center tap.
The Power supply uses 15v regulated so any transformer around 20v should be fine.
