Boss CE2: use MN3002 or MN3007 ??

I've read some posts and some schematics on the Boss CE2 chorus.
Most of them state to use a MN3007 BBD, like Tonepad for instance.
Strange is that Small Bear sells the MN3002 BBD for the CE2.
Now I'm confused. Which one should I use for the best analog BBD chorus sound?

Either chip can work.  The MN3007 has double the stages.  It costs a few bucks more at Smallbear, but not a ton.

Notice that the chip is interchangeable, but not necessarily the same footprint.  If the layout on tonepad is set up for the MN3007, I'd just go for that one. I think I'd prefer it for the extra stages anyway.
Built: Fuzz Face, Big Muff Pi (Stock), Distortion + (Germanium and Silicon versions)

Ah, thanks for the thread. So these BBDs do not have the same pin layout! Ok, well, that makes it easy. I'll just get a MN3007 as specified by the design on Tonepad.

The MN3002 was used for the Boss CE-1.  The CE-2 used the MN3007.  Neither is a "better" chip, but each design and available board layout is suited to its particular chip.
