Early last I raised a topic about the reliability of a certain foot switch, and apparently, soldering iron heat can cause damage to any footswitch.
I have just seen this product:

Has any body tried it?
It seems like a simple solution which means that you can use any tiny pcb switch you like.

I house a little tactile switch inside this and mount it to a PC board because I didn't like the "clank-clank" of the regular 3PDT switches.  I posted a little demo of my switch here:
