A not so new idea for the fetzer...

i just built a fetzer valve. GREAT boost, lots of clean headroom. but i have enough boosters, so once i built it and tested it, it sat for a day or two. then, i thought, what about an overdrive? then i realized i didn't feel like etching and i didn't find any vero layouts for ODs that i wanted to try. enter the clipping diode! i just ran a pair of 1n4001's from lug 3 to ground on the output pot of the fetzer. i must say, it wouldn't be my "go-to" od, but it certainly RIPS! It will get boxed...
