Hi

I have just finished a Boutique Bender from GGG (made on their board) and whilst it works ok it seems a bit low on gain & fuzz (direct comparison with RM classic FUZZ)
I have biased the Q3 for the maximum output but am not sure if this is just the way it should sound.

Please could somebody look at my debug details below and see if something is wrong.

2.Name of the circuit = GGG Boutique Bender + Ground
3.Source of the circuit (URL of schematic or project) = http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/tb3bb_sc.gif?phpMyAdmin=4a28f86a515b7883e7bc35a68d4e7b6d
4.Any modifications to the circuit? NO
5.Any parts substitutions? NO
6.Positive ground to negative ground conversion? This has a + Ground
7. Out of circuit battery voltage = 9.2V

Transistors = 3 germaniums from Steve at Small Bear.

Q1  =   3AX31C  gain 65
C = 6.04V
B = 0.96V
E = 0.88V

Q2 = 3AX31C gain 71
C = 6.04V
B = 0.88V
E = 0.79V

Q2 = 2A1DPG gain 120
C= 5.98V
B= 0.07V
E= 0V

D1 SB supplied germanium
A (anode, the non-band end) = 0.07V
K (cathode, the banded end) = 0V

Many Thanks

Axeman.

Bump

please could somebody verify the debug voltages.

Thanks
