I know that this topic is old, but I keep comming to it with the search function, so...
I used to work on Autocad for mechanical things and I fell on this yesterday, maybee it could be of some help.  Perhaps gonna use it.  FREE.
Did not used it yet but there are some parts you could make some blocks with.
