TS diode clipping, for the hundredth time...

This has probably been done to death, but I found this neat site: http://www.bteaudio.com/articles/TSS/TSS.html ...which has waveforms for simulated TS-ish circuits.  I thought it was cool to see the comparison between the inverted and non-inverted clippers (figures 2 and 4).

Has anyone done something with both inverting and non-inverting inputs to take advantage of the different clipping types?  Like maybe a switch between one and the other, or a blend control (with the signal to the - input inverted before it goes in)?

I thought it might be a nice way to mix or blend the clipping styles of the Tube Screamer type of pedal with something a little more harsh, like a BMP or something like that.

Thoughts?
