For those interested in multi switcher and dont have time to build one, saw this in this month's Guitar Player.  Looks similar the multi effects tru bypass that's on GeoFx.

How about that. Someone reads GEO.

They seem to have independently figured out the switchable buffer that I didn't put in the drawings at GEO.

It's interesting to see the step back from programming.  :icon_biggrin:

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

It sure looks familiar to my programmable quad switcher design.... even down to the DIP switches for programming.

Perhaps it's using latching relays.  No chip logic needed at all then.  AFAIK both of your designs hold state in flipflops.

Ok, I'm in for latching relays and thumbwheel switches.  Anyone mentioned that combo yet?  No?  Ok, the next product that uses it owes me royalties.  Apparently. :-/

Now that this thing is out in the wild, does anyone have any gut shots? I'm curious to see how they did it.
