I know we usually discuss analog stuff and electronics diy, but Line6 now has a Tonecore DSP developer kit available for $199,-.

Looks like a nice flexible idea if you're into DSP FXs programming:
- Provide a regular Tonecore docking pedal => 24 bits AD/DA + DSP processor + a few seconds of delay memory + USB interface to a PC.
- Provide a generic 6-knop 2-switch Tonecore interface on which you can develop an FX program and control FX parameters.
- Provide a DSP development kit (C/C++) with software, documentation, examples.

I hope that "deep" DSP guitar FX development will be possible with this.
I'm not from Line6 or anything. I just like electronics, programming, FXs and guitars.
