haven't tried those, but i would say you done good. should sound really nice in whatever you build

i like that site, i have checked them out before.
my life is a tribute to the the great men and women who held this country together when the world was in trouble. my debt cannot be repaid, but i will do my best.

I picked up 25 of these on a whim.  It worked out to about US$1.30 each with shipping. I ran the batch
through my DCA55, and this is the raw data:

DUT   Hfe (Ic=2.5mA)   Vbe   Ib (mA)   Leak (mA)

1   21      0.67   4.26   0

25   49      0.71   4.58   0

Now, the Peak insists that these are 'PNP Silicon Transistors'.  Measuring the junction voltages, I get between 0.7 and 0.75 volts.

Hmmm...

I haven't had a chance to cork'em in to anything yet, so I can't say how they sound.

I ordered a number of these a couple months ago. I have not used them yet. I was sort of disappointed by the low hfe, and they had too little leakage to go into a Maestro Fuzztone build. Now I'm thinking about building a Rangemaster with one of them when I have some free time.

TRY A BEAR BOOST PLUS!!

The gains look to be too low to bias well in an RM, but they look exactly right for a BB +
