I'm going to keep one of my builds strictly to the Russian values all with 1% metal film resistors and Panasonic poly film caps.
I am also working on a perf build with carbon comps and ceramic disc caps and the values are basically anything I can find that resembles the Russian or NYC version.

On my BMP, I can dime the volume control all way and it's only a touch louder when the effect is on than when it's off.

Is this normal? I would assume the Big muff had lots of boost and some to spare.
