I recently finished the ROG Condor Cabinet Emulator project and am quite pleased with it.
It's awesome for running pedals direct, such as into a recording device; which is how I record song ideas.
It also works great for running preamps into, another thing I do pretty often.

Here are two sound clips...using the Electro Harmonix English Muffn.

Here's the DIRECT (stream it | download it) clip running the EH Muffn direct into my MBOX.
Here's the CONDOR (stream it | download it) clip.

I didn't do the Marshall mod to the Condor, it's just the Condor with no extras.

I also built the Condor without the Marshall mod and was not too impressed.  But I really like your clip.  I will have to experiment some more with mine.

After hearing the clips I realized I still had a problem with my Condor build.  I found that there was a 1n cap at the end of the circuit that wasn't grounded as it should have been.  Now it sounds like it should.  It just goes to show how even when you think it's built right you never know what you might have missed.  Although I suspected there was something wrong since I knew it wasn't sounding as good as it should for quite some time and was too lazy to dig into it until now.  Thanks Jim.

I didn´t listened to the clips, but I have a Condor, and it´s really useful. I use it all the time when I record something in the pc (for guitar, acoustic and mic, didn´t tried bass yet). I just need to put it in a enclosure, it´s been some time since I built it but didn´t put it in a enclosure :icon_redface:.

I made my enclosure for the Condor a desktop type.  Since I use it for recording into the computer or workstation it's nice to have it sitting on the desk.  There's no bypass since for me it's either on or off.

I built mine with a switch, but it's for choosing the Marshall or stock response.  I'm happy to see so many builders pleased with the Condor!
