Ok, so I have this 3P4T rotary switch from small bear, which I originally intended to use to switch between 4 functions.  now I just want to only switch between three.  i could order the 4p3t version, but they would take a bit.  in the meantime... Smallbear advertises it as a 3p2-4t switch, implying you can fix it to be jsut 2 or 3 throws as well.  anyone know how to fix it to do this?

i looked at the datasheet (the part is Lorlin 105-2456) but it didnt say anytning in those regards.

anyways, if anyone has used this switch and knows anything, it'd be great becaase I dont want an empt position nor have ot buy a new switch!

Remove all of the nuts from the top of the switch, and there should be a metal washer recessed into the top.  This will have a pin (already inserted into the switch).  Remove the washer and you should see numbers that indicate the number of throws.  Insert the pin on the washer into the hole of your choice and you should be in business.

BYOC also uses these switches so they have some instructions with pics in the pdfs for some of their kits.  Take a look at the Tri boost, Mighty Mouse, and Large Beaver.
