Hey,

A rare post from me.

I'm sure that I found something here in the archives a while back( ???-why I don't post much-generally everything you need can be found in search :icon_biggrin:),but I'm interested in a tweak of the CE2 that reduces the chorus effect in the lower frequencies, but keeps it in the highs.

Any ideas appreciated.

Cheers.

C14 (.033uf in both the Tonepad layout and the original) sets the low-end rolloff of the wet/delay signal, and has no effect on the dry/clean signal.

Given that C14 and R22 form a highpass filter section, and so do C14 and R20, I'm not sure which one of those to use as a basis for a cap value recommendation.  Assuming the low-end rolloff is set by C14 and R20, it allows signal above 5hz to pass with effort.  Assuming the actual low-end rolloff is set by C14/R22, that rolloff starts around 102hz.  Big diference.

If R20 is the one to factor with you would need to reduce that cap value a fair amount.  Probably down to 1000p (.001uf) or less.  If R22 is the one to do the math with, then you would probably notice a difference in wet-side bottom-end if C14 was dropped to .01uf or .0082uf.

Thanks Mark,

That was quick!

I'll start most likely with R22/C14-intuition is tugging on me that a subtle change is a better starting point-or is what I'm chasing not-so-subtle?

I'll let it be known in a few days.

Cheers
