Well I have built a bunch of Fuzz but not on a PCB. I prefer perboard. I bought a BYOC PCB for the "Vintage Fuzz" and want to go for broke with the parts for it just do it.

I'm not a fan of gernium FF really. I prefer silicon but might do a mix.

What parts would you recomend? Not what you have heard is good but what you have used and loved. The only part I am planing to from my stuff is a Spruge 2.2UF.

If you want to go the "corksniffer" route you can use all carbon comp resistors, good high quality polyester, or even paper in oil or over the top "bumble bee" capacitors all hard wired on a tag board but it might not sound any different.....unless it has a big price tag ;D

Gain Pot for Fuzz Face [Smallbear], really makes the gain knob pointer very usable.
See Axis Face, the .047uf cap across the top 1k? resistor.
2n2369's easy to pick 'proper' gains for Q1 from these, also had ~good luck with 2n4401's and 2n2222's.
