So I picked up a DOD FX50 Overdrive preamp at the pawn shop for $15.00.    ;D  (BTW, this sounds surprisingly good and almost useable in stock form)

Is this pretty much the same as a Overdrive 250?  And therefore also a MXR Distortion +?  I'm just wondering if I can use the same schem for mods.

It's in pristine shape on the inside.  The foam is still thick and it has done a tremendous job protecting the PCB, which looks spanking new.

OK so I just listened to a clip of the MXR Distortion + and they don't even sound the same.

Anyone got a schem for the FX50?   :-\

I have the official scheme of the DOD FX50B from the company itself (they have sent to me years ago). Its the yellow pedal huh? I have one and sounds good but a little edgy to me. PM me your email and I'll send the pdf for you.
