I was looking at some amp schematics ( http://www.rickenbacker.com/service_solid_schematics.asp ) over at the Rickenbacker web-site, when my little eye spied something very familiar.

Take a gander at this little puppy and tell me if you see something more than a little familiar in the tremolo circuit.  http://www.rickenbacker.com/pdfs/19340.pdf

The drawing indicates the date as 1977, so a decade after the publishing of the EA article.
