Current production replacement for Vactec VTL5C3? Found one but lost the link.

I'm in the process of building a Mutron III clone and I remember coming across some information about an optoisolator manufactured by Perkin-Elmer that could be used as a current replacement for the VTL5C3. I thought the info was on the Pisotones sight but I went back and there's no mention of it (it could have been a McMeat/Meatball project). Does anyone have an idea where I may have seen this? I thought I bookmarked the site. I know I can get VTL5C3's from Small Bear but I like having options to play with and hate it when I know I saw something and can't remember where. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
