Crybaby true-bypass failure (really)

Okay, so I'm sorry if this is something you get all the time, but I did actually do some searching, and nothing I found really helped me out (so far). I also read (most) of the de-bugging thread, to no avail...Anyway, here's the problem:

I recently bought an old (rev. D) Dunlop Original Crybaby on eBay. This is the last version to have non PCB-mounted jacks...anyways, I made the stupid mistake of trying to convert it to true bypass with a DPDT switch and adding a new 9v power jack at the same time. I think I got the power jack sorted out, but I can't seem to get any of my input signal to the output signal, in either bypass or engaged mode...when the effect is "on", you can hear the wah filter affecting the static on the amp, and when it's off, it doesn't, so I'm assuming that the 'effect' still works, just none of the audio signal is getting through at all. These are the resources I used for the true-bypass (I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with them):

My best guess is that the guitar signal is 'shorting' somewhere before it even gets to the PC board? I'll check it all again, but it's puzzled me so far...sorry if this is glaringly obvious, or has been covered a hundred times before.

Sorry, this should probably be moved to the "beginner" forum...

No, the beginner forum is for a particular beginner project (Gus' NPN boost).

If you followed that diagram, it should work. Double check to make sure you didn't mix up the tip and sleeve of the jacks, etc.

Sorry, I don't have on on hand to verify, but I did my friend's Vox, and IIRC, it was pretty much the same. No issues that I remember.

Yeah, I finally tested the switch (brand new) and that was it. Needless to say I will be checking all my switches from now on...thanks for the info though.
