Hi All,

Anyone tried these? they're 3 SPDT switches in one 16 pin DIP which looks like a very nice
switch instead of a 4066... any one care to check the datasheet? see link below:
(mainly because I can't find if characteristics are good for audio)

Cheers,
It's supposed to sound that way.

They're improved pin-for-pin versions of the CD4053. Yep, used the CD4053, great results. These should be even better.

See the article on switching with the CD4053 at GEO for how to use them.

Long live the music.....

cool! I'll see if I can source some..

Processaurus

"These devices operate from a single supply between
+2.5V and +5.5V."

the plain vanilla CMOS 4053 can run off 5v to 15v, a better choice for pedal voltages, but the fancy one would be good for something that had a lower power supply...

OOPS! I didn't read far enough down the datasheet! Absolute max voltage is 6V. You're absolutely right processaurus. They won't run on +9V like the CD4053 will.

hmmm, found out they're quite expensive as well... as in 10 $ a piece...
Oh well, nice try...
