how can i boost low-mid freq

ok i have a metal muff
i hate his treble sounds too treble to me
well
i thought of making a freq booster to the mid-low freq
well will it be affectable or not, and if so which one will be good?
do you have any other thing to do ?

i guess you could try an eq pedal. I did some quick googling and found a quote about the metal muff,it read, "My advice to you is simply sell it and buy another pedal." Someone was complaining about the same thing.Check out GGG they have some eq stuff there.
EDIT: GGG only have one and its a six band, theres an eq around some where that only has switches i think its a Dan Armstrong design.
EDIT check out "DIY Fever" theres one over there. Or "Run off groove" its called Mr EQ that might help you out.

You can do a lot of things with a EQ before and after your distortion. You can read more about that here.

Like JOHNO said, try with a EQ pedal (boss GE7 is good ) before or after your metal muff  with a mid boost or anything else.
