I plan on building a Bosstone using this layout
http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=10850&g2_serialNumber=2

I would like to add a switch that can bypass the diodes. Where would that switch go in this layout?
OR
I am also interested in doing the 'Adding a "softness" or clipping threshold control' mod that is listed on the simple mods page of this site. My question for this mod is: where does the 3rd wiper connect to in this circuit?

Has anybody done any other mods to this layout recently?

Thanks
Brian

To add a switch just use a DPDT and wire the diodes on one side, a jumper on the other and  wire the middle lugs in place of the diodes on the board.

You can add a switch to select different input cap (maybe with  the similar value for output cap) with a on/on/on switch ? Add a tone control ala rat ?

This pedal seems to be great, a lot of people have did it here.

Looks like maybe you could get a low/high gain thing going by having resistor/no resistor between Q1e and Gnd., probably like something small, 100 ohms or so.
